Facial Expressions and Hands Speak Louder than Voices

Photography In everyday life, I walk by people without hearing speech and sounds. I am curious to know what it is like to hear or understand what others say. Fortunately, I am able to read facial expressions and hand gestures, which communicate countless ideas, though multiple interpretations are possible from different perspectives, which may cause misinterpretation and confusion. Regardless, at least I can see and feel the motions or emotions of what others try to communicate with me. The facial expressions and hand gestures show artistic beauty. Cultural communication shared through visual expression is often overlooked in everyday context. It is related to the phrase of “a picture is worth a thousand words.” An individual does not need to speak out with a voice but from their hands. Through the visual medium of photography, Facial Expressions and Hands Speak Louder Than Voices explore the role that hands and faces play in communicating thoughts and emotions.
